My key skills at Argos diversified from being van delivery supervisor and customer service assistant to stockroom assistant. While I was in charge of van deliveries at the Milton Keynes store, it was the best van delivery service in the company for eight consecutive years. I was also charged with training of new staff and investigating accidents to staff.

I worked as a mechanic responsible for brake systems this included rebuilding and replacing. This expanded into engine tuning and Pre delivery inspections of new cars, Parts ordering and customer service. A key responsibility was to check vehicles for dangerous faults and write a report, then talk to the customer explaining the fault and costing the repair.
