DARKMATTER is an interdisciplinary artist collective that draws inspiration from the concept of "dark matter" to express the complex identities shaped by creolization and globalisation. DARKMATTER aims to make these invisible experiences visible through radical self-expression, blending art, activism, and pedagogy. Aside from being a co-founder, I am also involved in grant writing, budget control, curating and production.

Branded "SEA Change", I researched ten cultural/arts projects Stichting DOEN funded during the 2018/2019 season, combining ethnographic and artistic research with audio-visual methodology. My tasks included: the general coordination of the research team, production during days of shooting, conducting interviews with stakeholders and particpants, writing the research report.

Curating and organizing various music events, among them three editions of 'Voor de Zonnevloed' arts/music festival in Tolhuistuin (2016-2018) and Museumnacht 2018. My tasks also included production and occasionally sound technics during events.

This traineeship allowed me to cooperate with six other artistic professionals from different fields. Over the course of six months we hosted several events and interventions in the museum, ranging from co-curating Museumnacht 2019, inter-active performances and video-installations that critically reflect on running exhibitions to more education based projects.

Research internship at the Landelijk Kennisinstituut Cultuureducatie en Amateurkunst (LKCA) in Utrecht. The research I conducted for their team was part of my Master's thesis on the cultural impact of squatter communities in Amsterdam.

'Skek is a cultural venue/café-restaurant on the buzzing Zeedijk, run by 30 eager students. A democratic community structure, combined with self-reliance and a "learning-by-doing" attitude are the essence of this organization. I worked here for almost 3,5 years as a member of the kitchen staff, where contributing ideas for new menus and coaching new staff members were part of my activities.
