From college i delved straight into work at the age of 18. From barman to accounts management at a leading bank. My customer service skills have always been a strong point. I've always been adaptable to my customers or surroundings. A social chameleon you might say.This was recognised by Cheshire police Constabulary where i was taken on as the youngest ever male in their Radio Deployment and emergency incident control room. A high tempo role with significant expectation levels were met.From here i decided to see out my early 20's in Australia, working in various jobs (mainly hospitality) to fund travels and to broaden my horizons.Falling back quickly into the British lifestyle, i immersed myself in work. Making my way up the restaurant management ladder quickly, where i would see out the next 6 or so years. Longing for a fresh challenge, i retrained myself as a hairdresser/barber. 7 day weeks were the norm for a long time. Something that set me aside from many. Securing my first job in the hair and beauty industry didn't take long. I spent the next 18 months soaking up as much knowledge as possible. I was confident i had the minerals to go on my own and make a success of my work, even in a saturated maket. Wasting no time i initiated all parts of starting a sole trader business.I can say with absolute confidence it has been a great success, and my business continues to grow. Why have i put myself on LinkedIn? I relish a challenge, and have never denied my drive for success with reward.
