Alongside my studies I’ve worked as a waiter in Liverpool F. C’s players and corporate boxes. Working in the boxes requires exceedingly high levels of customer service and professionalism which I provide to an impeccable standard each shift. Communication and teamwork are essential to succeeding here as each box can host up to 30 guests with only 2 waiters and 1 chef managing each box with a wide range of tasks to carry out. My strong time-management and multitasking skills have helped me succeed here as I’m constantly working against time with a wide range of tasks to complete such as ensuring all clients have their required food and beverages ready at different intervals (before, during and after the match).

I have worked at Olive Tree Brasserie for nearly 3 years and during my time I have become a fully trained bartender and server. While working for this business I quickly learned the essential skills required for the industry which are transferabele to many aspects of the sector. Due to high demand in the area, my time management skills have improved significantly as I was constanlty multitasking whilst ensuring the highest quality service possible and working to deadlines. I was also required to restock the bar during service hours and was expected to place multiple stock orders from a range of suppliers based on current stock levels and the changes in demand. I was recently selected to train the staff at the new restaurant in Leeds which involved me teaching groups of 15 how to make our extensive list of cocktails which developed my presentation and leadership skills.
