Recent graduate of the University of Victoria with a Bachelor's of Science in the field of Neuroscience. During my school experience, I gained skills such as laboratory procedures and methodology, data collection and analysis, and report writing. Knowledge and experiences gained in my studies have instilled a strong understanding of and desire to alleviate the dangers posed to the environment today, particularly in the local ecosystem.My work experience has been in the food service industry where I interacted with customers, handled money, adhered to food and workplace safety standards, and extensively multi tasked in an often chaotic environment.My interests are: volleyball, where I have played for 4 years in the community and as part of the UVic intramural system; scuba diving, where I have traveled to and dove in such destinations as Kona, Hawaii, and Turks & Caicos; and music, when I played for 5 years in my school's jazz and concert bands, often traveling to other provinces and the US for concerts and seminars. I am also an above-average 1000 rated chess player. I volunteer with organizations such as Greater Victoria Green Team and HeroWork Victoria to give back to the community and environment in my spare time.
