About Max Todd
With a BA in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology with a minor in Creative Writing, I seek opportunities to unite creativity and science wherever possible. Having begun my science communication career as a tour guide at the Morrison Natural History Museum since 2014, I aim to educate through many mixed mediums, from award-winning nonfiction essay writing to editing videos as an intern and volunteer for nonprofits like SciAll and Girls At the Museum Exploring Science (GAMES). Even before these experiences, I have always been passionate about biology, geology, and their intersection in paleontology. Through research and educating in these fields, I have since gained skills in public speaking, clear communication, and collaboration with scientists and other writers. Between my scientific pursuits, I love to engage with art of all sorts, be it reviewing music, drawing, or writing fiction, which I aim to publish. Nature is poetry, and I hope to expose it in my work and in my art.
