International InternshipFaw May 2011 - Jun 2011Tianjin, ChinaAs a student at UWSP, I was able to work abroad through International Programs and the School of Business and Economics. I worked for Tianjin FAW Xiali, a small car manufacturing subsidiary of FAW. FAW (First Automotive Works) is one of China's leading vehicle manufacturing companies. FAW works closely with popular companies like Toyota and Volkswagen. While at FAW, I performed specific market research on countries they are trying to break into. I also created reports on the U.S. Auto Industry. My biggest learning experience from this Internship dealt with the Chinese cultural differences compared to the Western style that I live in currently.
