My responsibilities include:- Delivery of production targets through process plant performance - Opex and Capex projects - completion of process control components for assigned projects- Process Control critical spares management- Site process control software and firmware maintenance, e.g. PLC operating software and live PLC rack component firmware- Day to day site wide (concentrator, paste plant, refrigeration plant, vent fans, underground assets) process control troubleshooting and improvements. Skills:- OsiSoft PI (PI vision and PI Process Book, data trending, configuration and troubleshooting)- Schneider Control Expert PLC Logic (site standard PLC logic)- AB plc logic (logix5000)- SCADA (Aveva System Platform)

I was fortunate to be a part of a high-performance process plant maintenance engineering team at Glencores Hail Creek Coal Mine in QLD. Living in a mining camp for 3 months was a fantastic experience and I really enjoyed the community lifestyle. Working with the process team I was able to draw conclusions from the process plant historised data and chair a few meetings which lead to positive outcomes.
