Leading the Construction HSE Department for the Group of Companies managing a Team of 6 HSE Managers and Advisors across the UK, reporting to the HSE Director. Day to day management of the Team, ensuring maintenance and development of ISO 9001, 14001 and OSHAS 18001 accreditations, also environmental permit compliance for the manufacturing sites. Development and improvement of the existing Management System plus the development and implementation of Steel Futures Strategic Action and Behavioural Safety Plan. Ensuring Senior Management Teams are working together and for the business by achieving the Safest and most profitable projects. The projects account for some of the most prestigious in the UK. With the steelwork erection packages ranging from £1 million to £65 million erected by directly employed labour. Development and implementation of an Exemplar Project. Achieved first RoSPA Gold Award for Safety. Carrying out site audits and Root Cause Incident Investigations.
