About Max Wight

Getting to know people and being able to help them through work is one of my passions. As a high school student I endured a serious back injury and a brutal recovery, but what sticks with me the most throughout that experience is not the hardship. What sticks with me the most is the effort and the passion shown by those around me, these people had little to no personal connection with me but they put the maximum amount of effort into their job to help me recover. This has been a large factor in my development and my growth, I have tried to emulate those people and show others the care that was shown to me. Be it through the physical care in my experience working as an athletic trainer or through the educational work I have done as an English instructor I have always tried to better the lives around me. Seeing the joy of someone being able to participate in their sports again or being able to express themselves in a language they were unable to in the past is what makes me tick, it is what makes me want to go to work every day.
