Experienced Business Intelligence architect, consultant, trainer, presenter and author - specializing in WebFOCUS consulting and technical leadership of major BI innovation projects. BI and Analytics practice centers around solving stubborn business and information integration problems. In my professional experience I have had the opportunity to create applications for a wide spectrum of industries and corporate cultures. Highly articulate, I am quite comfortable working with clients and managing work groups at all organizational levels.My work has focused on designing, building, implementing and managing financial databases and data marts, decision-support and business intelligence systems. Data Management aspects involve the acquisition and synthesis of disparate data sources into a cohesive and actionable view of the business. I have presented at regional conferences and many of my technical papers have been published in Information Builders’ and other industry journals. An educator at heart, I have trained hundreds of users across the country in non-procedural programming technique. Outside of information processing, I am an environmental evangelist and living systems theorist and philosopher drawing upon the experience of a lifetime practice of internal martial arts and research into consciousness. My 2004 discovery of Recursive Organizational Dynamics (ROD) led to a recent doctoral business research degree in organization design and business administration - and appointment to an adjunct professorship in post-graduate management studies. In 2007, I published “Looking Through the Eyes of Nature” – a critical analysis of the role of consciousness in the practice of T'ai Chi and its application to the world at large, including business organization.
