About Max Yang

I have been working in the field of cancer immunology and oncology since my PhD started. My research interests focus on the role of natural killer (NK) cells in liver cancer, liver injury, hepatitis, NASH and liver transplantation. My research work elucidates the molecular mechanisms of how NK cells are functionally activated or inhibited in the tumour microenvironment and utilizes in vitro modified/expanded/engineered NK cells as tumour therapy reagents. I have mastered the related laboratory technologies and data analysis softwares.I am also interested in novel animal imaging technologies, molecular imaging, drug delivery, 3D bioprinting and animal surgery.
