• My core area is auditing Singapore listed companies with operations mainly in China and Hong Kong and also European multi-nationals involved in manufacturing, trading and logistics industries. My work exposure in the various industries enabled me to acquire a firm grasp of business issues and reporting requirements of the International and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Companies Act, Singapore Stock Exchange, Hong Kong GAAP and China GAAP. • I am also responsible for recruitment matters, mentoring and involved in training of junior staff and quality review of audit files.

• I am in-charge of maintaining and building rapport with all clients from the Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and also Japanese multi-nationals involved in construction, manufacturing, logistics, shipbuilding, and trading industries. • I am also acting as the technical consultant on audit methodology and Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards. I am responsible for grooming the junior staff.

• I am primarily focused in Singapore listed companies, US, Japanese and European multi-nationals involved in various industries and had significant experiences in reporting requirements of the International and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Companies Act, Singapore Stock Exchange, Japan GAAP, US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. • My work scope entails managing a portfolio of audit engagements, negotiating fees, reviewing clients’ financial statements, maintaining strong rapport with clients’ management as well as audit committee members, and providing training to staff level. • During my tenure with KPMG Singapore, I was seconded to Tax and Risk Advisory Services for greater exposure. My exposure in Tax department has enabled me to provide sound tax advice to my clients with confidence. My involvement in Risk Advisory has exposed me to the heavily regulated Sarbanes-Oxley rules as I was entrusted to spearhead a few projects for Finance functions.• My greatest achievement with the firm was being the sole ambassador for the firm in the US Mobility Program from 2005 to 2007, with KPMG San Francisco.• I was awarded three Ovation Awards by KPMG San Francisco and two Service Excellence Awards by KPMG Singapore for outstanding performance and delivering top quality services to the clients and also consistently demonstrating the firms’ core values.

• I am exposed to diverse industries including listed companies in Malaysia and US multi-nationals involved in technology, manufacturing, hotel and property development. • My roles and responsibilities include leading a team to assess clients’ internal controls, accounting and business processes, consolidation processes and drafting financial statements. My variety of clients has enabled me to be well versed in various reporting requirements of the Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards, Malaysia Companies Act, Malaysia Stock Exchange and US GAAP.

• My job scope entails reviewing internal control structures, makes recommendations to the Board of Directors and senior management for corrective actions of unsatisfactory conditions, assists with improvements in operations, and establishing accounting procedures and policies to safeguard company assets.
