Following the… Show more Doing research on how to actively involve the Noorderpoort Community (consisting of teachers) with conducting business policy, in order to further professionalize the organization.Together with 4 fellow students I have been assigned to Noorderpoort in order to help them conduct an organizational change within their own organization. Noorderpoort is a large centre for secondary, vocational and adult education and training in the province of Groningen, the Netherlands. Following the anouncement of a completely new strategy, Noorderpoort introduced the Noorderpoort Community. This group was supposed to consist out of all employees of the organization and the main purpose of it is to give teachers the opportunity to think along in decision making processes. Because, after all, they should be aware of what the students need, which will lead to higher quality education.The community in its current form is not functioning like it should, according to Noorderpoort. The group is sleeping and it seems like the members are not committed. In the past couple of months we started doing desk research (literature study) followed by field research within the organization. Our goal is to improve the community and make it an effective tool in initiating organizational change. Show less

At a certain point I have been busy with developing a new product line which eventually needed to launch in stores all over Bali.
