Over the course of my professional career, I have developed a unique skill set that has allowed me to excel in both industries. My years as a high school Spanish teacher provided me with a strong foundation in communication, organization, and classroom management. I learned to adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners and to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.Following my time in education, I transitioned into the hospitality and sales industry, working as a bartender and then as a retail sales associate at Fleet Feet. In this role, I refined my interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. I learned how to connect with customers and provide high quality and individualized service. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to achieve notable accomplishments. In addition to my success as a teacher and bartender, I also competed as a D1 athlete on the track and cross-country teams while attending the University of Mississippi. These experiences have taught me the importance of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, which have been invaluable in my professional life.Overall, my diverse background in education, hospitality, and sales combined with my achievements as an athlete, have prepared me to tackle any challenge that comes my way. I am excited to continue to learn and grow in my future endeavors and to apply the lessons and skills I have acquired throughout my career to help clients finance their dream of homeownership!In my free time, I enjoy watching MCU movies, cooking for my family and friends, sampling local beers and food trucks, and competing in various road races (from the 5k to the marathon).
