I attended Joliet Junior College from August 2015 to December 2017 and graduated with honors. I then transferred to Lewis University in January 2018 and graduated in December 2019 with high honors. I earned a bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Business Administration. Thanks to my studies in my History courses, I have gained proficiency when it comes to my research and writing skills. I understand that whatever field I work in, those attributes would be an asset. Thanks to my Business Administration classes, I have an understanding of certain aspects of the business world. During semesters and breaks in-between sessions, I worked and gain experiences that would help me get ready for working after college. From June 2015 to February 2021 I was employed at Jewel-Osco in New Lenox, IL. There, I worked as a bagger and parking lot attendant, then was promoted to cashier. In 2020, I returned to work as an e-commerce shopper. Working at Jewel-Osco taught me many lessons about customer service. Companies need to do the best of their abilities to ensure that the client is satisfied with the product or service that they are paying for. During Summer of 2019, I worked as a Utility worker at Cintas Facility Services in Romeoville, IL. In addition to handles rental garments, I helped with project with management trainees assisted with delivery drivers on their routes. During my time there, I saw a look into the understanding of working the "behind the scenes." I am grateful for the lessons I learned from my experience while working at these jobs. I have been a member of the Boy Scouts of America since my youth. My greatest achievement of my scouting career and among one of the greatest moments of my life was earning the rank of Eagle Scout. In order to become an Eagle Scout, the candidate would have plan, organize, and complete a project that would benefit the local community. Mine was to erect a pavilion for the Will County Humane Society. Before completing that project, the Humane Society workers had to move the dogs for adoption events by vans, now they can host events without the hassle, opening the door for more adoptions. My time with the Boy Scouts taught me about hard work, dedication, and respect. Without Scouting, I would not be the man I am today.I have experience working as a Claims Tech for CNA and OMSNIC. During my time at those companies, I spoke with insureds from various states and asked relevant questions regarding their claims. I also worked as an Inside Sales Rep at Alro Steel. There, I gained valuable experience in sales.
