I worked for more than 15 years in the television post-production industry in London as an editor and colour grader. I studied Architecture at London Metropolitan University and gained experience with a highly regarded practice before setting out to create my own path in life.As someone who has always tried to broaden life with hobbies and interests, I am fascinated about bringing my collection of skills into a professional environment.This concept was first explored in a cycling brand that I started called Podia. Designing and producing cycle clothing and selling globally online and through retailers was just one part of our commercial activity. We also set up a series of supported cycle holidays through Central and Eastern Europe and welcomed guests from as far afield as Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.I am currently focused on creating spaces for people to work and socialise in for Yolk Workspace & Community. During a tough first year of launching a flexible workspace during a pandemic, we have developed a concept that is focussed on providing more than just a stylish workspace - we are growing a friendly community where people can find business partners to collaborate with as well as friends to build an all important social structure in a foreign country.
