I currently live in West London with my family though I view myself as a global citizen having had the privilege to live and work overseas since childhood; when I am not coaching you will find me flying small planes, working on wildlife conservation and travelling. Taking my inspiration for life from people and places - I believe in the importance of working with difference and that access to meaningful choices changes lives.My personal and professional journey included time spent as an engineer, chartered accountant, sports and professional coach through which I have learnt to courageously face change as it unfolds, be resourceful and access meaningful choices for myself. Only by knowing what matters most to me can I be authentic, adaptive and connected.This philosophy combined with my knowledge of organisations and culture underpins how I work with my clients - creating conditions for them to explore possibilities, develop and embody an authentic presence and create their own conditions for adaptive action. My clients comment that I am “supportive, perceptive and insightful”, creates a “positive” environment for learning; “Max allows you to explore without limits and has the skill of being able to ask you questions that really get to the root of what you are thinking or feeling”, “…together we explored some difficult and emotional areas and I trusted her to guide me through these to be able to learn and grow” and in enabling action “she takes into account the culture of the organisation and other variables”.I completed a Masters degree in Executive Coaching from Middlesex University through i-coach academy with research in entrepreneurial leadership and culture. This programme holds the European Coaching and Mentoring Council’s EQA award at Master Practitioner level. I have completed the Human Systems Dynamics Certification programme and participated in various CPD events. A Member of the EMCC, I adhere to their code of ethics and have regular supervision for my coaching practice. In addition, I am a Chartered Management Accountant and hold a BEng in Chemical and Process Engineering. My clients span global private and public sectors, and include BP, WPP, Swiss Re, Saudi Aramco, ABB, News International, NHS, Novartis, Wellcome Trust and a variety of SMEs including private equity groups.
