* Participating in the development process of state-of-the-art Network Management System (ASPEN) designed for management of networks based on Metro Ethernet devices. ASPEN creates new end to end service in seconds and manages network resources, while guaranteeing Service Level Agreements (SLAs)* I was responsible for support a big amount of legacy code, new functionality extension for new releases, system design of the new flexible features, add support of new device and connection types. * I was leading the design, implementation and the testing of the refactoring of the most performance problematic component in ASPEN. The new code is written in pure Java and replacing huge amount of database stored procedure code. Some of the new code is also infrastructure for the refactoring of other ASPEN components.* Nokia Siemens Networks acquired Atrica in January 2008 as part of its strategy to position itself as one of the top players at the Carrier Ethernet Market.* I was continuing to work on my Atrica's project and, during the growing of our group, start to build team witch will be able to implement all ASPEN design goals as well as allow integration of ASPEN system in a global company like NSN. I was promoted from an informal to the official team leader.
