Working as part of a team carrying out mainly de-vegetation jobs along the High Speed 1 railway line. Starting out as an Operative, I was quickly put through the RSL course and promoted to a Team Leader position.

Originally hired to manage social media accounts and interactions, my role quickly evolved to a more prominent and valuable member of the team due to my IT knowledge and design skills. My current role is comprised of a vast array of duties, from offering IT support to other employees in the office, design and production of leaflets, posters and flyers for the company’s activities and events, compiling and producing regular newsletters and the website management and maintenance.

Working on mainly chalk grassland and woodland habitats, my role consists of helping out on task days with physical tasks such as woodland coppicing, tree felling, scrub clearance and fencing. Other parts of the role have been things such as; livestock checking, wildlife monitoring and surveying, data analysis, assisting the East Kent Downland Warden across the area and leading volunteer groups in the Warden’s absence.

I’ve worked with a number of domestic start-ups, small businesses and charities, as well as international clients, conversing through email and Skype to provide a range of services, mostly web design and development but also graphic design for posters, online graphics and logos.
