MTVH is an affordable landlord with approximately 100,000 residents living in 57,000 homes, and a 5000 new-home development pipeline. I provide strategic leadership and Executive and Board support and counsel. I have built a high impact corporate affairs function responsible for engaging key audiences - residents, colleagues, media, and stakeholders. I also lead our Diversity and Inclusion function supporting under-represented groups and harnessing a culture where individual difference is respected.

I led a team overseeing communications planning, insight and evaluation, ministerial visits, and external affairs. I was a member of the communications directorate’s senior leadership team, working with ministers, special advisors, other government departments, and external stakeholders. I established the department’s first ever External Affairs Team and led for the department on Scotland communications in the 2014 Independence Referendum.

I was a senior communications adviser to the Local Transport Director and a member of the local transport senior management team. I led a national communications campaign to demonstrate the government’s commitment to filling potholes and local road maintenance.

I led over fifty local campaigns across the country to engage communities on planning proposals for new Tesco stores and mixed-use developments. I also spent three years working in the international business including a financial quarter as Acting Corporate Affairs Director of the company’s Turkish subsidiary.
