Currently work as a Technical Solutions Engineer at Epic Systems in Verona, Wisconsin. I studied Aerospace Engineering and in addition to my engineering degree, I obtained a business minor to expand my future possibilities in the work force. In my current role, I solve complex healthcare IT issues, such as correcting data and creating logic-based rules to enhance care. Acting as a liaison between software developers and two major hospital systems, my responsibilities include running frequent internal and external team meetings, troubleshooting existing issues and assisting in new feature implementations. Additionally, my role involves leadership discussions to shape long-term goals and mentoring new hires during their initial months. Previously, I worked as an Engineering Intern at Felling Trailers, where I primarily used Solidworks to fix part designs, improve assemblies, and complete engineering drawings, as well as Ansys software to perform load analysis. During my studies at Arizona State University, I became extremely familiar with several software applications including MATLAB, Solidworks, Ansys, Arduino IDE, and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. My coursework included low-speed aerodynamics, high-speed aerodynamics, aircraft propulsion, aerospace structures, and aircraft dynamics. Along with lectures, many of these courses included lab work which consisted of running experiments to explore several concepts such as divergence Mach number, transonic flow, and compressible flow. In my aircraft propulsion class I learned in-depth analysis of air-breathing propulsion systems, including turbofans, turboprops, and turbojets. In addition to my technical skills, my professional experience has allowed me to gain several soft skills, including time management, critical thinking, and creativity. The work varies often between independent and collaborative, allowing me to develop my ability to work on a team as well as on my own. Email: maxgdonnelly@gmail.com
