The City of Edmonton Fleet and Facility Services is a municipal entity responsible for managing the city's vehicular assets and public facilities. This encompasses the routine maintenance and inspections of assets and implementation of sustainable practices, ensuring effective delivery of municipal services and environmental responsibility.Designed SolidWorks models and assemblies for various components and assemblies, ensuring precision and adherence to City of Edmonton's engineering standards. Generated detailed part and assembly drawings, incorporating Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and weld callouts. Conducted comprehensive safety calculations, ensuring designs surpassed safety specifications in areas such as bending, shear stress, deflection, and buckling. Provided crucial support to engineers in researching innovative technologies related to electric and hydrogen powertrains.

The Edmonton Waste Management Center (EWMC) is an industry leader in its innovation and sustainable waste management practices. Currently in partnership with Enerkem Alberta Biofuels to convert 100,000 tonnes of waste into 36 million litres of biofuel annually.Designed an extendable loadout chute modification for loading biofuel precursor materials into long-haul trailers, centring material distribution inside the trailer and increasing loadout efficiency by 15-20%. Managed tasks throughout the project lifecycle, from design analysis and CAD modelling to strength calculations and prototype development. Compiled a comprehensive technical report, incorporating detailed drawings, cost projections, and in-depth engineering analysis to provide a holistic overview for the client. First place winners in the Summer 2022 design competition, project strongly considered for implementation by EWMC.

Northwood Pulp is a Northern Bleach Softwood Kraft (NBSK) mill with a capacity of ~1700 TPD.Drove operational excellence at Canfor by optimizing the Infield Reliability Inspection System (IRIS), successfully managing projects up to $100k with a focus on efficiency and communication. Elevated equipment reliability through comprehensive preventative maintenance inspections and strategic recommendations. Enhanced asset reliability by extracting and analyzing data for capital project justification. Pioneered a standardized FRACAS (Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System) interface, standardizing event reporting and corrective action tracking, resulting in heightened operational efficiency and minimized downtime.

Englobe Corp is a Canadian engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental sciences, and soil and biomass treatment. Englobe was contracted by TransEd to perform the concrete quality assurance for the City of Edmonton’s Valley Line LRT expansion.Managed concrete quality assurance for Valley Line LRT expansion, emphasizing hands-on fieldwork and strict adherence to City of Edmonton safety standards. Conducted on-site air and slump testing to ensure compliance with project specifications, collaborating closely with placement crews for seamless execution. Delivered high-quality concrete quality assurance while prioritizing safety, contributing to the project's success.

The Lister Hall Students Association (LHSA) is a student governance group focused on advocating on behalf of residents of the University of Alberta's first-year residence (Lister Hall). Each floor in Lister Hall is assigned a Floor Coordinator (FC), who meets weekly with senior LHSA officers to plan events, communicate resident grievances, and host yearly tower challenges. FCs serve for two academic semesters. As the FC for 4 Schaffer (4th floor, Schaffer Tower), I had the pleasure of interacting weekly with my residents at our floor meetings. I refined my communication skills by keeping my floor up to date on the latest LHSA events, advocacy initiatives, and fundraisers. I honed my leadership skills by acting as a point of contact between my residents and the LHSA. I got to collaborate with other FC's in the planning and execution of various events. As a member of the Student Life committee, I hosted midterm and final exam reviews for a variety of first-year courses such as Calculus 1 and 2, Linear Algebra 1, and Engineering Dynamics.
