I worked as the Lead Product Owner and Scrum Master for WEnergy’s Upstream Cost and Measurement modules providing designs, testing, support, and project management. I maintained the subject matter expert (SME) role providing data analysis and solutions support for Joint Interest Billing (JIB) and AFE modules. As Scrum Master, I worked in a project manager role managing a team of five utilizing the Agile Scrum framework while working directly with clients to support modules within WE’s Upstream Cost and Finance suite. I led design, collaborated with client over 400 hours and completed over 1000 hours of design work to accomplish an on time delivery of a minimum viable product of WEnergy’s new Measurement module. I was promoted to this Lead Product Owner position while working full time and pursuing and graduating with a two-year Master of Science degree.

I completed over 1,200 support tickets regarding Joint Interest Billing (JIB), Financials and Division Orders & Disbursements. I worked as the JIB point of contact for WPX Energy, Ikav Energy, Flywheel Energy, and 15+ clients. I utilized PuTTY (in an SSH capacity) to deploy code, restart services, update/modify config files, migrate databases, and download log files on a daily basis. I documented and created the user manual for the Joint Interest Billing module.

I designed and implemented AFE and Work Order modules for the company’s application along with creating subsequent documentation and module user manuals. I became proficient in SQL query language using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to download and restore databases and analyze data on a daily basis. I performed 4,000+ hours of quality assurance testing on both AFE and Work Order modules.

I was the reliability engineer for open hole completions. I pressure tested and created quality reports for extricable ball seats and the new plug swivel. I helped implement the a new organizational software by cataloging existing tool serial numbers into the system. I also assisted in training FE I’s with core tools (various liner hangers and setting tools).

I was accepted into Field Engineer International Assignment Program. I worked for one month in Poza Rica, Veracruz, six months in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, and ten months in Villahermosa, Tabasco. While there I performed operated cemented liner hanger system in the field and cross trained in Cased Hole Completions. This included cleaning, building, and installing compression set service packers and wireline set cement retainers. I also became proficient with conversational Spanish while living in Mexico.

I was an open hole completions field engineer. I cleaned, built, and redressed proprietary down-hole tools for open hole field operations. I worked in the warehouse constructing liner hanger assemblies and their respective setting tools. I also field operated FracPoint, a packer and sleeve open hole fracturing system. In addition, I was chosen to be a member of the recruitment team at the University of Tulsa.

I designed and executed a project to reroute a high pressure contactor and filter separator discharge line. I worked jointly with a fellow intern on finding an alternative fuel source for compressor stations and the associated facility changes needed for the conversion. I became proficient with AutoCAD, SynerGEE, and various other computer software programs.
