After getting a summer job holding signs in high school, my friends and I invented "sign spinning", an innovative outdoor advertising solution where young people do tricks with arrow shaped signs to advertise for businesses and brands. Our passion for sign spinning allowed us to combine our extreme sports backgrounds with guerrilla marketing to create a service that is as much a performance art as it is outdoor advertising.In 2002 I used $500 to found AArrow Advertising with my friends from San Diego and my roommate from Georgetown University. Since then, AArrow has grown into a global franchise company with more than 30 offices in the US and 10 countries across the globe. As an organization, we focus on creating job opportunities for young people and have more than 2,800 sign spinners around the world. In 2018 we provided more than $10 million in advertising to Fortune 500 companies from virtually every industry including Ashley Furniture, KB Homes, UPS, Subway, The Red Cross, Jiffy Lube, AT&T, Dunkin' Donuts, Toyota, and more.As a social enterprise, we measure our success based on the value that we create for all of our stake holders by producing valuable returns for clients, improving the lives of our employees and making millions of people smile every day.
