Micheal Axelsen BCom(Hons) MInfmSys PhD FCPA is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems and Deputy Director Teaching & Learning (Commerce) in the UQ Business School, University of Queensland (UQ). I focus on the use and role of intelligent technologies in the audit and governance of information. About Me: Micheal is an experienced IS professional and accountant with fifteen years’ experience in the area of IS consulting including IS project evaluation, IS audit and IT management and governance as well as holding a PhD in Business Information Systems from UQ. Micheal’s published research is in the areas of the use of intelligent decision aids, Information Systems (IS) audit, and Information Technology (IT) governance.
