MANDO Maasai aims to developp several aspects of Maasai community living in Kajiado County: education, gender equality, microfinance, community empowerment and water harvesting. I mainly worked on the latter, participating in applying for grants, designing water tanks and lattrines, and quoting tanks, lattrines and borehole projects. Nairobi is where I spent most of my time working, occasionnally meeting the association leader Michael Sayo. I also went in situ in the Great Rift Valley to assess the different projects and meet some actors.

Lyon 02, Rhône-Alpes, France

As part of my internship, I participated in the development of the master plan for drinking water supply on the left bank of the Var river for a total of 17 municipalities in the Alpes-Maritimes department, including Nice. So I realized: - database collection- GIS database consolidation - consumption data processing and analysis- measurement campaign preparation - creation of the EPANET model

Biarritz

As part of the renovation of the Château de la Folie Boulart in Biarritz, I worked as part of the project management team, in sub-project management: the construction of the relaxation area (Hammam-Sauna-Spa-Piscine-Local Technique) and the garden area. During this internship, I was in constant contact with suppliers, experts, the construction team and the client in order to carry out the mission. In addition to my responsibilities, this internship has brought me a lot of rigour, organization and autonomy in my work. I also saw the importance of good communication within a team, as well as a clear and oiled organization.

Lyon Area, France

Under the supervision of the site manager, I was in charge of monitoring the reinforcement of the site, ensuring their conformity from the design of the cages to their installation. To do this, I was in contact with the subcontractor's team and their site manager, but also with the site manager of Eiffage Construction. I had to show autonomy and organization in order to check in time all the reinforcement in this underground car park. In parallel, I carried out the site measurement, which consists in calculating the volume of concrete used, the mass of reinforcement laid, etc... using the plans.
