I have extensive experience in the Life Sciences Industry with knowledge in molecular diagnostics, single cell genomics, Next-Gen Sequencing (NGS), biothreat agent detection, genetics, molecular cell biology, microbiology, medical device development and validation, and management of projects. I have the ability to manage multifunctional teams of individuals from the science and engineering functions. In my current position, I manage a field support team composed of Field Application Scientists (FASs) and Field Service Engineers (FSEs). My team provides installations, training sessions, technical services, and servicing of instruments in North America, Europe, and Asia (China, Japan, Korea, and Singapore). My interests are definitely broader than medical devices and assays; in the past, I have been involved in the development of synthetic organisms for purposes of biofuels production, radiation exposure countermeasures, and gene expression based studies.
