Development Engineer with CRUX-SI: developed a MEMS-based inertial measurement unit (IMU), a low noise DC/DC 15A converter, a 20KVA automatic inverter, a fuel cell test station, a wireless axe torque meter, a data acquisition modular system with PC GUI, a thermal control for a satellite instrument and a power distribution unit for that satellite.· Over 4 years experience in MEMS design, processing and testing. Learned at MIT’s MTL Labs in 1998/99 while carrying out research work for Purdue AAE Dept. On August 2004 took MEMS training course 6.152 at MIT.· Exceptional collaborator: able to bridge company and clients’ interests, as well as joining efforts. At the present he's joining research groups to shape a project (proposal was already selected from more than a hundred) to build a space-ready system using MEMS.· Proven success in MEMS Projects and Proposals designing, writing and carrying them out.· Very good work/commercial relationships with people from many MEMS related companies and institutions, like MTL Labs, Analog Devices, MTS/Nano Instruments, NWU, Harvard, among others.· Highly skilled in presenting, communicating, and writing.· Organized and enthusiastic; able to effectively accomplish multiple tasks and complete projects under pressure.Specialties: Systems Engineering, Management, Space qualifying, Spacecraft subsystems concept, engineering, specification, integration and test.Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS), Space applications, Designing, Manufacturing and Testing of hi-tech systems.
