Max is the Chief Commercial Officer of AEGIS Physical. Prior to AEGIS, Max was Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Ancova Energy, where he and his team built an industry-leading physical commodities marketing firm and technology platform for physical sales. Before Ancova, Max held various commercial and financial positions at Chesapeake Energy, American Energy Partners, and Williams Midstream. While at Chesapeake he managed the commercial development for a 23-rig drilling program and coordinated the marketing efforts for 550 Mmcf/d of natural gas and 30,000 Bbls/d of crude oil sales. Max has participated in various roles on deal teams for over $20 billion in midstream and upstream M&A transactions. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to Sixth Street Capital’s Infrastructure group. Max has a BS and MBA from Oklahoma State University. Outside the office he enjoys fishing and kayaking on the Mountain Fork River, camping in his Airstream, and playing golf. He is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma and lives in Edmond with his wife and three sons.
