I am an incoming sophomore at Indiana University and the Kelley School of Business, currently looking to pursue a career in finance.Before coming to Kelley, I was involved with numerous organizations and clubs throughout high school. I played tennis and basketball, in which I gained a variety of teamwork and leadership skills, especially while being the captain of the tennis team my senior year. This role gave me the opportunity to share those same skills that I had developed to the rest of the team. I was also involved in Hoosiers Outrun Cancer, Dance Marathon, and Special Olympics. As a compassionate and charitable individual, my involvement with these groups brought me great happiness and I was able to start a tennis program for my county’s Special Olympics organization, and coach them for 3 years learning many life lessons.Covid-19 played a major role in determining what my experience at IU has looked like so far, however due to my adaptability, I was able to work hard and find ways to broaden my social network. Regardless of what path I take during and after my time at Kelley, I am confident my resilience and adaptability will lead to success.
