Worked on several strategy projects for large CPGs in the food and apparel spaces. Most notably, I spearheaded a social impact consulting project in Kenya in which I developed a business model to introduce an off-grid refrigeration system to smallholder fishermen in the Lake Victoria Basin.

• Participated in a strategic cost cutting and growth strategy project for a specialty apparel retailer, where I worked directly with both Accenture and client executives to conduct “visibility mapping” and peer benchmarking by analyzing 4M+ lines of SG&A expenses; ultimately identified ~$140M in potential savings for client• Collaborated with Accenture Managing Director to create final deliverable presentation deck that was presented to client’s C-suite, leading to $30M sale of project’s second phase

• Increased productivity of ailing three-person marketing department by developing policies to facilitate teamwork, ideation, interdepartmental communication, and on-going training, ultimately growing department to five associates• Planned trade shows, designed web/print marketing materials, and developed branding/packaging for products, increasing success of retail line-reviews and winning business of three new national accounts • Led rebranding of product line with 2K+ SKUs by revising logo, color scheme, packaging call-outs, graphics, size, and material, leading to sales at major national hardware and automotive industry retailers • Redesigned firm’s five websites, focusing on aesthetics and SEO-optimization, increasing brand awareness, traffic, and lead generation; managed four contracted developers to code new websites to ensure accuracy and uniformity• Researched specialized printing equipment for packaging prototypes, conducted tests of various systems, and presented recommendation to C-level team, saving firm $500K+ in costs of printing plates over five years

Founded the Date Code Genie within the Coda Resources family of companies. Led the research, development, marketing, and sales of an Android-based automated food-safety labeling system for the hospitality and food-service industries. The system is currently used in over 10,000 foodservice establishments worldwide.

Suit U is a custom suit manufacturing company that caters to the university student market. I started the company during my sophomore year of college with a partner in China. My primary focus was business development, branding, sales, marketing, and management, while my partner managed all of our operations in China including logistics and sourcing.

As the first intern in Top Fortune's history, I was fortunate to be thrown headfirst into meaningful projects; it was not a get-your-boss-a-coffee type of internship.
