· I'm leading Appsembler's Platform Team behind our two products where I set strategy and direction for how we build our products, grow our team, cultivate our culture, and retain top talent in a distributed-first environment.· Defining Platform Team objectives aligning with company wide quarterly goals.· Growing the team through hiring, recruiting top talent from around the world, and putting special care into helping to increase diversity in the team.· Onboarding and mentoring software engineers from junior to senior level, helping them to reach their goals and maximum potential.· Setting sprint priorities in coordination with multiple company stakeholders: Product Management, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing.· Implementing and fostering new processes to make work more effective in a remote environment across multiple time zones.· Leading the engineering technical decisions in the process of re-designing our stack into a micro-service based architecture using Python/Django, Celery, RabbitMQ, GCP, Docker, Terraform and React/NextJS.

· Led Appsembler’s engineering team behind the Tahoe product, empowering the team to build the product roadmap in a psychologically safe environment.· Scaled up the team while transitioning from a prototype stage into a mature product. · Conducted weekly planning meetings, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives and engineering 1-1s.· Managed a team of senior and junior engineers, helping them to grow in their roles and careers, with a high rate of talent retention.

· Worked on the professional services team supporting 20+ enterprise customers.· Automated infrastructure deployment and provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.· Single Sign-On(SSO) resident expert on the team, building several SAML and OAuth SSO integrations.· Worked on several integrations between our platform and third party systems, mostly e-commerce and CMSs.

· Deployed the university Open edX installation to provide online education.· Worked on customising and maintaining the Open edX codebase and configuration code, adapting the architecture and functionality for the university's needs. · Changed platform default architecture for multi-server installation, Single Sign-On integration using SAML with university ActiveDirectory user base and developed new XBlocks.

· Worked with a customer based in Spain in a team of two engineers building and supporting e-commerce websites.· In 2 and half years we built 4 e-commerce websites in Django which were in sync with a central stock, pricing, shipping and translations service.· We also developed a home-grown CMS for creating and editing product translations in 8 different languages.

· Responsible for the architecture and technical documentation for an educational game aimed at children. Later developed in Android. · Documenting all user stories and workflows for 15 levels of the game.

I have developed the GolTV Latinoamerica’s and GolTV’s (USA) sites in Drupal, also in charge of the administration of Linux servers hosting the high traffic sites.Was a big challenge to develop and administrate sites for a major firm with that amount of traffic peaks, reaching 10.000+ concurrent users at peak times.
