I am doing an internship in the group “Biological Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience” at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena to get more practical experience. The internship gives me the opportunity to learn how to measure the brain activity in healthy subjects and how to analyze the taken images with SPM and MATLAB and I am getting familiar with the program Psychtoolbox to design experiments. I was responsable for preparing and giving a weekly lecture for medicine students.

Title of Thesis: "Frontotemporal dementia with mutations in the gene MAPT: Role of the mutation N279K".I wrote my Master thesis in the laboratory of Cell Alterations in Neurodegenerative diseases at the Faculty of Medicine at the UAM in Madrid. I obtained experience in Western blot, Immunofluorescence, Data Analysis and scientific writing. Later this year my results are going to be published together with the work of other colleagues.
