At DNK Studio, I took on the role of a Java Backend Developer, contributing to the development of a Checkers(Draughts) game. During my tenure: I focused on the server-side development, where I was responsible for crafting the game logic, managing user data, matching users for gameplay, and implementing a system for daily gifts to users. I also played a role in server maintenance, including deploying Docker images and analyzing and resolving any technical issues with the server machine.

I briefly worked on a taxi aggregator similar to Uber. My primary responsibility was extracting practical information from 'organic' addresses in different languages for various purposes, such as identifying shopping centers, malls, universities, streets, and more.

At Skytec Games, I played a pivotal role in the development of a real-time multiplayer card game. Over the course of my tenure:I was responsible for supporting and enhancing existing game mechanics, in-game store features, and social activities like guilds, chats, and forums. Designing and developing new features from scratch, including card interactions, game modes, and single-player experiences. I also developed internal tools for game designers.My responsibilities extended to codebase maintenance, legacy code elimination, and database optimization. I handled updates for project servers and addressed technical challenges associated with high server loads.As my career progressed within the company, I took on the role of screening and assessing new developers' technical capabilities, which involved evaluating approximately 100-150 test tasks and conducting around 20 interviews.

During this period, I focused on honing my programming skills and gained practical experience in various aspects of software development: I developed a strong foundation in Java Core, Collections, Stream API, Concurrency, Generics, and Reflection. I undertook projects, such as programming coursework and graduate work, for other students and occasionally for food :) I actively participated in Olympiad programming and achieved a personal best in the Russian ICPC semi-final. I ventured into game development, exploring areas like procedural map generation (using techniques like noises and cellular automata), Entity-Component-System (ECS) architecture, and OpenGL (specifically LWJGL3). I also gained experience in parsing various data formats, including JSON and XML, and implemented mapping to POJOs using reflection.

I collaborated with a startup focused on aggregating film information from various sources in different languages, similar to IMDb. My key responsibilities included designing a 'proposal' system for user edits and voting for 'correct' information. Additionally, I developed parsers for different websites, created web interfaces, and implemented full-text search functionality using Apache Lucene.
