I'm a third-year civil engineering student at Clarkson University, set to graduate in December 2024. I'm actively searching for an internship in structural engineering, with a keen interest in transportation infrastructure.As the captain of the Concrete Canoe SPEED Team, I lead the team in developing and coordinating the construction of a prototype concrete canoe. This hands-on experience has not only developed my leadership skills but also deepened my understanding of construction materials.Beyond the classroom, I've gained hands-on experience through a summer internship with Atlantic Testing Laboratories. During this internship, I was involved in materials field tests, with a specific focus on a wind farm project. This experience allowed me to contribute to the testing and analysis crucial for the success of the wind farm.My passion for civil engineering, particularly in bridges and railroads, has evolved from watching documentaries to actively working on projects at Clarkson. The Concrete Canoe project sparked my interest in construction materials, while the internship exposed me to the logistics, planning, and design aspects of construction.During the Spring semester of 2023, I studied abroad at the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen. This experience allowed me to explore diverse cultures and infrastructural landscapes, strengthening my dedication to structural engineering, especially in transportation.I'm excited to apply my academic knowledge, hands-on experience, and global perspective to contribute effectively to a dynamic structural engineering team during an internship.
