Description: As part of the client's (Atlona) QA team, I participate in the development of Velocity, Atlona's Audio/Video control and management solution that allows to administer proprietary and third party A/V devices (encoders, decoders, extenders, switchers etc.), create controls for A/V equipment using a visual editor, integrate with third-party scheduling systems (Ad-Astra, Google Calendar etc.) to create meeting rooms/classrooms and much more.Responsibilities:• Testing new features and bug fixes;• Investigating customers incidents;• Conducting regression testing before major releases;• Creating new/updating existing test cases and checklists to ensure adequate test coverage;• Creating internal manuals and guides for other members of the QA team;• Reporting to the customer on the results of the work of our sub-team (me and another QA engineer);• Interviewing candidates for manual/automation QA positions;• Participating in the verification of Pytest UI autotests created by another member of the QA team.

Description: Participating as part of the Ericsson/MediaKind field-engineering team in the implementation of a framework that allows to deploy a fully functional IPTV system based on the existing infrastructure of the customer (Magyar Telekom, Hungary).Responsibilities:• Verifying the relevance of issues found by the customer's QA team, gathering information about the bug (logs, screenshots etc.) and taking responsibility for fixing it;• Improving communication between the customer and the development team, ensuring visibility of processes for the client;• Improving and optimizing of QA processes within the company by creation guidelines, manuals, educational materials etc.;• Acceptance testing of new releases before delivering them to the customer.Description: Conducting an authorized phishing attack on employees of three offices of the company to verify their compliance with information security rules.Responsibilities:• Collecting data about the company and employees from open sources, creating a plan of phishing attack;• Developing a Python script for mass mailing of phishing emails to company employees;• Creating of infrastructure for capturing and saving data entered by employees: domain with SSL certificate, a landing page that looked like an existing company resource and a backend to save all data in the database;• Collecting statistics and generating a report to inform management about the results of the phishing attack.

• 486 bugs and potential issues were found;• A checklist consisting from 207 checks was created (for testing of an Android application, but since an iOS app have the almost identical functionality this checklist was used for it too);• 18 of that checks was automated (Appium + WebdriverIO + Mocha + Chai);• A completely redesigned iOS application has been released: previous App Store rating 2.7, current rating 4.8 (based on 811 ratings);• A brand new Android application has been released: current Google Play rating 4.7 (based on 267 reviews);• Participated in the formation of a technical support team consisting of 2 people: created of manuals, guidelines and cheat sheets, provided support and training of personnel.
