I'm a passionate digital marketing expert with experience in project management, sales and communications.Back in high school, I would have never been able to guess where I'd be today. I had the grades and the self-motivation to do almost anything I wanted. I went the marketing route because I thought I could learn how to help people share their innovative ideas with the world - and maybe on the way, I'd come across an innovative idea myself!Throughout my program I participated in four COOP placements, each giving me a different perspective of the world of work. I had the opportunity to try various occupations that each gave me new skills I could carry to the next. From refining soft skills like interpersonal communication to gaining hard skills like customer relationship management and project management concepts.Move a little forward in time and I once thought of helping others share their innovations is exactly what I am doing now as a digital marketing expert at myMarketing, an agency that helps startups and small businesses grow online. Our team optimizes various digital channels for businesses like their website and how it appears on search engines or its social media following. In other words, we're preparing businesses for the future.Since I always seek other challenges in life, I'm also a Project Coordinator at Statistics Canada. I take part in many activities that ensure projects across the Agency are delivered on time, on budget, within scope, and are expected to deliver the desired outcomes determined at the onset of the project.Physical marketplaces have matured, but digitization is still a child. It will grow and many things will change. I plan on staying ahead of the curve to continuously help businesses grow and find their spot in the digital realm.
