As an (interior) architect, I enjoy the challenge of designing on different scales and the bringing together of those scales. I pay close attention to visitor experience, especially on a sensorial level. My background lies in Interior Architecture, from which my master(grad. 2018) specialized in Design for Exhibitions and Museums. To broaden my skill set in the world of built environment, I pursued an additional Master of Architecture. Not only have I gained more experience in structural design, fire regulations and HVAC, I have also participated in studios of experimental nature. These include research through drawing, and exploring media of expressing critical thinking. Growing up in the Netherlands, close to the Belgian and German border, helped me to develop my language skills. I have a C2 level in English, I am fluent in German and near fluent in French. Furthermore, I have a passion for history of art and would like to practice further research through drawing architecture. I believe my different backgrounds and passions can form a great asset in exploring different fields in the world of architecture.I recently graduated magna cum laude from the Master of Architecture(grad. 2021), in Brussels. My main interests right now lie in museum design, hospitality design, adaptive reuse, housing, or larger scale projects such as schools or offices. Travelling and learning about other cultures make me a better designer and hence I would be ready to engage with international clients. My friends and family describe me as an ambitious, sociable and creative personality, ready to get out of my comfort zone. I hope to represent those characteristics in my future career path.
