Promoting Women Entrepreneurship and SME empowerment and development through financial literacy, access to finance, market linkages and mentorship

Zambia We-fi Program Manager. We-fi stands for the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi), an International partnership World Bank Program that aims to unlock financing for women-led/owned businesses (WSMEs) in developing countries. The Program aims at scaling up Women led or owned business's access to finance and financial products, provide capacity building and mentorship, expand networks and provide market linkage opportunities to local and global markets. We-Fi’s partners include 14 donor governments, six multilateral development banks as implementing partners, and numerous other stakeholders in the public and private sector around the world.

Promoting financial inclusion amongst Micro-Enterprises

• Headed the Trading Department as Senior Equity Trader, spear heading the SBZ trading strategic plan and ensured for the overall performance and oversight of the Trading Department, managing a team of 6 team members, based simultaneously in Lusaka and Kitwe• Engaged, facilitated and managed local and institutional client equity investment portfolios on the LuSE• Managed key industry stakeholder relationships, e.g Custodians such Stanbic Bank and Standard Chartered, local Pensions and Insurance institutions, high networth individuals as well as international broker partners, such as EFG Hermes, Auerbach Greyson, Momentum, Rondine Capital, StonEX and etc. • Facilitated and was a key personnel on key product system developments and implementation..

• Engaged both local and foreign retail and institutional trading on the LusakaStock Exchange; Provided investment advice to potential and existing clients;• Designed and published SBZ Market daily Activity Reports• Managed Stakeholder relationships and clientele equity investment portfolios• Participated in the following transactions, amongst others:• ZAMEFA Mandatory Offer by Reunert International Investment Limitedto the Minority Shareholders of ZAMEFA Plc, 2017• CDC UK Sale of Offer to all Copperbelt Energy Corporation PLC (CEC)Shareholders, 2018• CEC Africa Mandatory Offer, 2020• Chilanga Mandatory Offer, 2022• Implemented, promoted, and developed the SBZ Marketing Plan• Organized investor conferences (e.g., 2019 African Investor ConferenceZambia in conjunction with the African Investments Team- www.afsic.net)• Was the Assistant to the SBZ Executive in executing key Company projects and productlaunches• Facilitated virtual and physical workshops on Investing on the LuSE to Corporates and retail clientele• Actively engaged in Financial Literacy through public awareness workshops organized by the Securities Exchange Commission, and the Zambia Capital Market Association.• Further promoted Financial Literacy through Radio Broadcast on Radio Phoenix weekly for seven years to promote market updates on the LuSE.

Job Role involved : • The co-ordination of publications of LuSE marketing materials to the public toensure all materials published were beneficial and delivered uniformly, anddevelopment of marketing campaign plans• Management of e-marketing and e-publications for the LuSE to ensure low costand high impact marketing for the Exchange• Preparation of the daily, quarterly, and year-end statistics to disseminate an account of allthe trading activity on the exchange; Attend to client queries to provideinformation to clients as and when needed; and Surveillance of Market Activityon the Automated Trading System during trading hours• Organized the following listing ceremonies: -The ZMW 150 million IFC Zambezi Bond on the LuSE (First IFC bond to be issued in Zambia)- The Madison Financial Services Group Listing on the LuSE in 2014-The 2014 LuSE Corporate Governance Awards• Was a key organizer for the LuSE Alternative Market Launch and Country-wide workshops across 5 Zambian Provinces

• Role involved the surveillance of Market Activity on the LuSE Automated Trading System during trading hours• Engaged in financial literacy workshops to High School Students• Co-organized the LuSE 2013 Corporate Governance Awards with attendance of 300 stakeholder guests• Engaged in public sensitization of how to invest in equity on the LuSE
