I took care of children aged 4 to 15 throughout my years working at Sports Montreal. I was responsible of their surveillance, well-being and entertainement throughout the day for the whole summer. I had the occasion of supervising these children in a wide variety of situations ; playing soccer, at the water park, horse riding as well as bricolage sessions! I was recognized as a veteran counsellor after 4 years and contributed to the training of new young counsellors before eventually moving on to focus on tutoring.I was assigned to students of all ages with various difficulties in different school subjects such as mathematics and french with the mission of helping them overcome their hardships. This activity, albeit it has been hampered in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, has greatly stimulated my growing love for teaching, Getting to experience the satisfaction of helping someone understand and grow is a feeling I do not expect to tire of anytime soon.Currently, I am on an internship at Westmount High School in Montreal and am looking to start subbing as soon as early December!
