As the founder and CEO of MAGMA Learning, I’m determined to help humans level up their intelligence thanks to the emergence of artificial intelligence.At MAGMA Learning, we specialize in developing hardcore AI models that optimize all aspects of the learning process. Our web and mobile app, MAGMA Mentor, enhances the effectiveness of learning programs and significantly boosts their practical impact. Our AI mentor has been recognized with innovation awards from esteemed organizations such as Karger, LUISS, and Learning Technologies. My personal journey began with an insatiable appetite for knowledge and creativity, leading me to study Philosophy and Art. Realizing that most books would remain hermetic to me without scientific training, I then switched to theoretical physics and earned a DPhil in string theory from the University of Oxford. I have led research teams in prestigious institutions like the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, where Einstein worked.I founded MAGMA Learning in 2019 upon recognizing that machine learning could be used to maximize human learning. By building artificial neural networks (AI) to learn how biological neural networks (human brains) learn, we are pushing the limits of cognitive psychology and neuroscience. For example, our research has led to the rediscovery of Ebbinghaus' forgetting curve with new insights into short- and long-term memories. In corporate and academic contexts, MAGMA Mentor helps learners become more knowledgeable, curious, and creative. I enjoy playing the piano (I consider Bach to be the #1 human of all time), chess, cooking, and tennis.
