During my studies I developed 8 mobile apps that were downloaded 1.6 million times. The Fresh Apps company I created to manage the apps generated a 35,000 CHF annual revenue at its peak.I designed, developed from scratch then released the apps on the Play Store. The first apps were developed in Java, and when Kotlin became the new reference I learned the language and used it to develop the new ones. The Fresh Apps company I created to manage the apps generated a 35,000 CHF annual revenue at its peak.I designed, developed from scratch then released the apps on the Play Store. The first apps were developed in Java, and when Kotlin became the new reference I learned the language and used it to develop the new ones. The revenue was mainly (80%) generated through advertising spaces that were sold to Google, Facebook and Twitter. The rest of the revenue (20%) originated from in-app purchases. Master Thesis - "Swisscom Mobile Network Parameter Estimation and Tuning using Deep Learning"I designed and implemented a deep learning pipeline that is now used on a national level to help calibrate cells of the Swisscom LTE network and optimize their performance. The neural network model that I created produced calibration recommendations that were on expectation better and more creative than the ones of the experts. The neural network model that I created produced calibration recommendations that were on expectation better and more creative than the ones of the experts. This model is now in production and used as the basis for an assistance tool for the Swisscom experts.To build the model I used PySpark to preprocess around 1 Terabyte of data on the Swisscom clusters. The data was then ingested by a deep neural network model I implemented with Pytorch. I collaborated with the EPFL Deep Learning lab to design the architecture of the model. Show less
