As a philosopher by training, rigour and critical thinking are at the root of my personality. Naturally curious and avid for all kinds of knowledge, it's all things of the mind that fascinate me (from the arts to the hardest sciences). My natural inclination towards language, dialogue and human interaction first led me to teaching, with a pronounced taste for passing on knowledge. I've always had a particular passion for music, which led me to the music profession in a second phase. I began by learning how to manage a cultural structure before taking on the artistic direction of a venue and its programming. I try to put my own stamp and personality on things through my own tastes, always with an eye to how they are received by the audience and a particular ethical concern for a warm welcome and openness to others. It's always about listening, talking and convincing within the limits set by others.Music, that pure sensibility, is the physical side of who I am. But it is also through the Japanese martial arts, and more particularly aikido (with an underlying passion for Japan), that I try to find the most harmonious balance possible between the demands of the mind and the energies coming from the body. As an audiophile, I'm always amazed to see how a simple material machine can create pure aesthetic emotion, and I try to defend the fragile, humble but precious temperance of the human being, always in search of himself, particularly through science, art and philosophy, but never oblivious to the earthly geography from which he was born.
