Last year, I got my Equivalence in US Bachelor of Science degree in Photonics Engineering from Buffalo State University of New York. I worked at Luminar Technologies in Orlando, as the Optical Engineering System Lead Lab Manager. I was in charge of all the equipment regarding the calibration and the training. I also got my certification as a Zeiss Micura CMM operator. I specially developped a sensor caracterization setup which was a game changer for the company and brought them to the next level and saved lot of money. Also, for the last 26 years, I worked at INO in Quebec city as an Optical Metrologist and Optical Alignment Specialist which brought me great flexibility in the world of photonics. I was also part of the optical design group and worked daily with the team and the customers to bring solutions to their challenges. From the customer's specifications passing by design and assembly until the installation on site. I was in charged of the alignment plan redaction, design of the tooling, purchase of the needed optomechanical parts, assembly and testing to ensure the project meets the requirements. This journey allowed me great opportunities to work in many fields like automotive, military, aerospace, astronomy, biotechnology, industrial and many more. Using different equipment, I was able to perform the best practice in optical alignment and characterization from UV to THz passing by visible and IR spectrum.
