Expretio gave me the opportunity to join a team, working on a legacy product, but preparing a complete overhaul with modern frameworks and tools.Now, I keep working on the legacy back end while also improving the new back end.

As a self-taught developer, TRSb hired me with the ambition to make me a Java developer.After basic training, I joined a team working on a new project that has just started, which allowed me to continue learning from my teammates' experience.Throughout my time there, I alternated between Java and PHP projects, making use of my past experiences and advancing my new skills.

Due to some life changes, I made the decision to try the challenge of freelancing.I had the opportunity to work on various projects, including existing and custom ones. Sometimes I helped another developer, and sometimes I was in charge of designing and developing the entire project.Being often the only person working on the projects allowed me to develop skills like autonomy, organization, customer relations, and project management.

After graduating, I continued working at Wixiweb, focusing on back-end development.Maintaining and improving existing web apps, gathering needs and feedback, and designing and developing hand-tailored web apps were my primary tasks.

During this apprenticeship, I used to spend one week at school and three weeks at work.I was a part to the growth of Wixiweb, specializing in tailor-made websites.I was given the opportunity to improve my PHP knowledge, learn about design patterns, and work alongside a team.

As my first experience, this was challenging. The IT department was made up of just two employees, my project manager and myself, as part of a small company.Exploring different aspects, such as helpdesk operations and gathering feedback, was made possible by this situation. I was charged with designing and developing a new ERP from scratch, while also maintaining the existing one. Additionally, I had as a side mission to improve the website used for posting job offers.
