I oversee the evolution of Curbcut's transformative platform, originally conceived within McGill's Sustainability Systems Initiative, into an independent, comprehensive tool for urban analysis. Curbcut simplifies complex, layered national and local datasets and advanced analytical frameworks, making them accessible to everyone—from curious citizens to municipalities, government bodies, and community groups without specialized technical expertise. By presenting data in a clear, intuitive format, we empower the general public to understand urban issues, enable diverse organizations to access vital insights, and equip policymakers with the tools to drive evidence-based decisions.My leadership focuses on driving Curbcut's expansion, both technically and strategically. I guide a talented team in building scalable platforms that unite advanced data science methodologies, including spatial data integration, with user-centered design principles. This approach has positioned Curbcut as a key resource for understanding pressing urban issues, while maintaining rigorous standards of quality and accessibility.

As the lead developer of Curbcut, I am building on my 2-year research and development work at McGill Sustainability Systems Initiative (MSSI). We are now focused on scaling Curbcut as an independent platform. My responsibilities remain parallel, including:- Coordination and leadership in development- Technological research for platform scalability- Integration of new data sources- Development of analytical tools and pages- Quality assurance and testing frameworks- Supervision and collaboration with research teams

- Coordinate and lead the development of Curbcut, an interactive, web-based tool for exploring and analyzing urban sustainability in the Montreal region;- Research and deploy technological framework for developing Curbcut;- Add new data sources to Curbcut;- Add new analytical tools and "modules" for exploring and visualizing data;- Oversee frameworks for testing and quality assurance;- Supervise occasional graduate student researchers and help integrate their results into Curbcut
