Taipei Dome is a BOT project being planned for the construction of the dome stadium, shopping mall facility, hotel, office building, and cultural entertainment square. The construction of this large-scale venture is led by the Farglory Construction & Obayashi Corporation Joint Venture following a fast-track execution.Major underground work (approximately 1,600,000m3 of soil excavated) is conducted by inverted construction method.In order to ensure the safety of the “Top-Down” excavation and construction sequence of works for the five basement floors and the foundation slab:▪ Produced a structural model of the five basement floors conformed to the Contract Documents▪ Carried out stiffness and displacements analysis in accordance with the construction sequences▪ Assessed and quantified the influence of the temporary structure during construction stage▪ Prepared progress reports and conducted frequent meetings with the partner Sino Geotechnology▪ Provided technical assistance on other various projects: → Performed structural wood and steel design for a case in Hainan → Assisted the analysis of base isolation performance for a case in Taoyuan
