E-commerce commercial intern in the Consumer Product Division of l'Oreal UK & Ireland. This division focuses on mass market brands, such as Garnier, Maybelline, Essie and l'Oreal Paris Cosmetics. My initial role was to support the national account manager of Ocado and the Hut Group. However, as my line manager was absent. I was given the reign of the accounts, a week after starting my internship. I first focused on getting the health of the business right through clearing invoices, raising prices internally and by submitting promotional forms. I also had to grasp a lot of information in a very short time period. I also helped with stock, pricing and image issues on other accounts such as ASOS and Very. Whilst maintaining the health of the business throughout my internship; at the end, I was able to help the business with more data analysis to help build 2017 strategies for Ocado and the Hut Group. Delivered +£295k of consolidated net sales for both months on the Ocado account. Analysed large amounts of sales and P&Ls to help the business strategize. I provided recommendations based on like-for-like analysis on media and promotional activity for Ocado in 2017. Increased product availability on Look Fantastic, main site of the Hut Group. I also simplified the internal process of uploading new product line forms by automating the excel sheet. Managed relationships with four buyers across both accounts.

As an EU Careers Ambassador in the UK, my role was to maximise British applicants to European Union institutions. Invited, planned and budgeted for a range of alumni and EU officials to offer St Andrews students' a platform where they could meet and learn about opportunities in the public civil European sector.
