Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager
CurrentService Manager for Cloud and On-Premise Infrastructure Operations, managing IT services operated by external service providers. Accountable for the delivery of state-of-the-art, secure, cost-effective operational infrastructure services in both the cloud environment and on-premise geographically distributed datacenters. Closely aligning with ITIL/ITSM principles to ensure efficient and effective delivery of cloud services. Defining service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring they are met, managing incidents and service requests, coordinating change management processes to minimize disruptions, conducting regular service reviews to identify areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Actively involved in the Cloud DevOps activities of deployment, operations and maintenance of the Cloud ecosystem. Overseeing well functioning of the end-to-end cloud environment (PaaS/IaaS solutions, FinOps, Identity, Security, Backup, Networking, High-availability, Connectivity). Ensuring the Product Owner role for cloud and platforms transformational projects, aimed at extending and modernising the current IT products and services. Managing the Obsolescence and Lifecycle Management programmes for physical hosting infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualisation) as well as enterprise-grade software rollouts (VMware, OpenShift, RHEL).Playing a crucial role in fostering collaboration between different teams involved in delivering and supporting cloud/on-prem services, ultimately striving to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business value through optimized service delivery.
